In 2008, we launched Teen Club, a program that aims to educating young people to empower them to make better choices in life and grow into responsible adults. After the success of Teen Club at Green Hill International School we are extending the program to include three more schools in the Ga East District in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
We need volunteers with a range of grassroot development skills to help manage the program, which will be running for the next two years, from 26 September. Volunteers will need to stay for a minimum of one month.
If you have experience in fundraising or grant proposal writing or you think you could lead discussions with kids about HIV/AIDS and reproductive health issues or help manage the day to day organisation of the program then fill in an application form.
All Teen Club volunteers will live in a fully-equipped apartment with other volunteers and may need to share a room with one other volunteer. Any couples wishing to volunteer together should let us know in advance if you would like to share a room.
